This collection of poems explores the significance of dance culturally,
personally, and spiritually. It touches on several dance forms in the author's experience, beginning with American Indian tradition. Folk and Traditional Dance is represented by examples from Eastern Europe.
Five Rhythm Dance provides participants with opportunities to explore and express their personal perspectives and life experiences. Dances of Universal Peace honors the underlying unity of all spiritual paths, and the beauty of each. Finally, the spiritual experience of drum dance is reflected.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: The author, Muqit (Stephen M. Sachs) received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and is presently Professor Emeritus from Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis. He and his wife Leah Ingraham live in Albuquerque, NM, where he remains professionally active including serving as editor for two on-line journals: Indigenous Policy and Nonviolent Change See also Circumference of Forever and Walking The Four Directions. | ![]() |
